Grand Canyon National Park

Travel to the awesome Grand Canyon, an unimaginable and breathtaking vista of scenic views. Walk along the rim or take a short hike into the canyon. Hike along the Virgin River in Zion canyon, take a short hike to the Emerald Pools or tread carefully up to Angel’s Landing if you dare. Gaze out at the fairyland beauty of Bryce Canyon, walk along the rim or travel down among the beautiful sandstone spires for an enchanting experience.

We’ll stop in Seligman AZ and visit some of old Rt. 66 for some great views of the old mother road and pictures of the past. We travel to the unequaled Grand Canyon to see this vast national treasure. Carved by the Colorado river over millions of years this wild and vast canyon hosts unbelievable views and incredible natural experiences. We’ll visit Mather Point and take a rim walk from the Yavapai Museum where you can see far out over the canyon. Take a short hike to Hopi House and visit the historic El Tovar hotel. Lunch will be at the El Tovar restaurant.  We’ll spend the night at the hotel or nearby in Grand Canyon Village.

Travel through the Virgin River Gorge to Zion National Park a 2/12 hour drive into Utah. This canyon was carved by the Virgin River and is a beautiful array of red, pink and white sandstone cliffs and spires. Once ancient sand dunes these formations tower above the canyon forming an awe inspiring view. We’ll start out at the lodge and travel to the Virgin river for a hike up to the narrows. Spend the day with beautiful pictures and optional hikes to Emerald Pools or Angels Landing. Lunch at the lodge. Overnight stay in nearby Springdale Utah.

We’ll travel to enchanting Bryce Canyon and view the giant natural amphitheater created by an ancient giant lake eroding away the landscape along the Paunsaugunt Plateau. This the upper portion of the Colorado Plateau and the erosion formed the sandstone spires called hoodoos. These multi-colored hues provide a fairlyland of views and excursions in the park and these are spectacular sights to behold. We can travel into the canyon for some enchanting hikes or walk along the rim taking exceptional photographs at your leisure.

Back to Vegas

After a morning walk along a canyon trail we’ll drive back to Vegas. Along the way we’ll stop on Rt. 66 in Seligman AZ where we can see a piece of the old Mother Road. We’ll be back in Vegas around 5:00 or 6:00pm.
